TELUS Lunar New Year

Visual & Interface design - January 2026- February 2026

 

01 Task & Deliverables.

 

This Lunar New year, I was given the task to create a campaign for regions: Alberta, BC, Ontario & Quebec, including mockups for the languages: English, French, Chinese (traditional & simplified).

The ask:

  • Add a Lunar New year feel to the page while keeping the page simple and consistent with the rest of t.com

  • Add a new block that promotes a entry to win a $250 T&T gift card after signing up for the TELUS newsletter

  • Usage of the TELUS “horse critter”

Blockers:

  • No new creatives given from marketing for the 2026 campaign

  • No image of a $250 T&T gift card

 

02 Creative Ideation

In addition to using TELUS internet and mobility hardware/ devices, the Lunar New Year campaign will also utilize assets like cherry blossom trees, branches, petals and the TELUS horse “critter” in recognition of the year of the horse.
